From the 15th of September the students of the Batch XV of CCD-STeDe Joint Master Degree had their first experience of seminars, lectures and excursions. This year, we are hosting 32 students from 22 different Countries.
On day one, the students were introduced to the context of UniPD and ICEA Department.
On day two, they discovered Padova from the hidden point of view of the city’s waterways, including different ecosystems and ancient legacies realities.
On day three, they had an inspiring fieldwork activity in the Euganean Hills and in the industrial area of Padova, where they met actors, activists and associations involved in the protection of local ecosystems and environment.
On the last day, they concluded with the keynotes on communication by Dr. Paolo Mioni and “What agroecological urbanism? Urban food justice and urban political ecology” by Prof. Chiara Tornaghi.
Congratulations to the students of Batch XIII who defended their thesis on the last day as well, bringing a fertile moment of exchange of ideas and knowledge.
