We are pleased to invite you to the new lecture “The Kurdish question and the Democratic modernity as a post development paradigm”, held by Federico Venturini from the University of Udine (Italy).
Federico Venturini is a Research Associate at the University of Udine (Italy). His current research focuses on sustainability, social ecology and participatory processes. As activist-researcher he took part in many fact finding missions in Bakur/Turkey e Bashur/Iraq. He co-edited with Thomas Jeffrey Miley the book “Your Freedom and Mine: Abdullah Ocalan and the Kurdish Question in Erdogan’s Turkey” and with Emet Degirmenci and Inés Morales the volume “Social Ecology and the Right to the City: Towards Ecological and Democratic Cities”.
The lecture is organized in the framework of the course “Alternatives to development and territorial practices of post-development” of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master programme CCD-STeDe (Climate Change and Diversity: Sustainable Territorial Development) and is part of the GEOnovember initiative.
